School Board Vacancy Announcement
The School Board of Lancaster Community Schools is soliciting letters of interest from persons who wish to be considered to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education. The School Board voted for the appointment process at the October 26, 2016 Special Monthly meeting to fulfill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Scott Jones.
The appointment will be for an interim period, beginning once the new board member is sworn in and ending when a candidate is elected at the regular April election.
Community members who are interested in being considered for the interim appointment must be qualified voters and residents of Area No. 4, which consists of the Town of South Lancaster except Sections 1,2,11,12,13,14,23,24,25,26,35 and 36 thereof, and that portion of the Town of Potosi which is now or shall hereafter become part of said Lancaster Community School District, Grant County, Wisconsin.
Letters of interest should include the candidate’s mailing address, telephone number(s), and email address (if available). The information will be accepted through 8:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2016. Letters of interest should be directed to:
