Who We Are
Friends of Winskill is a parent-teacher organization devoted to supporting the students, staff, and families of Winskill Elementary. We believe in the power of connection—between families and educators, between classrooms and community—and we work together to make Winskill the best place to learn, grow, and thrive.
Our Mission
Friends of Winskill partners with families, educators, and the community to provide meaningful classroom support, grow school pride, and celebrate the incredible students, staff, and faculty of Winskill Elementary. Through fundraising and community involvement, we build on Winskill’s legacy of excellence, ensuring today’s students have the tools, experiences, and encouragement to thrive.
Our Vision
To foster a school community where every student feels valued, every classroom is filled with opportunity, and every staff member is celebrated — honoring Winskill’s tradition of excellence while inspiring future generations to learn, lead, and succeed.
What We Do
We bring our mission to life through:
- Fundraisers and Events — including school merchandise sales, the annual Glow Run, Bundt Cake orders, and seasonal classroom decorations.
- Classroom and Teacher Support — from supply donations and mini-grants to teacher appreciation efforts throughout the year.
- Student Celebrations — that recognize accomplishments, boost morale, and make school fun and memorable.
- Community Connections — fostering relationships between families and the school through inclusive, family-friendly events.
